Welcome to Noble Academic Writing  

 

As an applied linguist, I enjoy teaching others to write well and gain confidence in their 'voice.' Rather than editing, I work alongside a writer, seeing them through several drafts, much like a running partner. My primary interest is in researcher development: in writing, presenting, goal setting, and research management. I instruct scholars in writing traditional theses, theses by publication, journal articles, ARC Discovery & Linkage grant applications. Teaching others to write well has also fed into curriculum design projects both here and overseas, as well as research across tertiary institutions with a view to making higher education more accessible for all.
